TURN FOR THE WORST
After much effort recovering, restoring and mastering the live recording, TURN FOR THE WORST is now a real thing! Released on all streaming platforms on July 11 2025, with the music video released July 18, this piece further rounds out the “Antartica Mythology”, and the musical history of Marc Soucy and his two friends and bandmates, Ray Lavigne (drums) and Jeff Carano (bass).
Their musical exploits are now a legacy—however small—in the history of the world, thanks to the internet and digital media. I have been proud to turn this into a reality and am still ecstatic to have had Jeff and Ray with me all those years ago.

“This piece answers the question: What if George Gershwin met up with Frank Zappa and they collaborated on some music about New York City? This piece is really an eclectic but "formal" piece of music that may just as well be played by a small orchestra or big band. I intend to create a rendition of it more in that form in the future.
Here it is performed by just three guys in "the cellar".... literally.”
