INTRO
Marc Soucy has been composing and producing music for many years. He was an independent producer for 14 years leading up to 2011.
From June 2024 through August 2025, a new music series entitled STIR is his return to the public eye, and begins his growing and highly eclectic catalog.
“Each piece blends various combinations of neo-classical, world folk, electro, synth-wave, progressive rock, and jazz fusion. Over time, these blends in various forms have become my style.”
Marc has also restored and mastered his early original material, as performed live in 1982-83, in the ANTARTICA Live series. This commemorates the beginning of his journey as a composer and music artist.
In September 2025, a new series FREED begins.

BIO
Marc Soucy has been connected to music practically his entire life. After many years performing, composing, producing, doing studio work, and forever tweaking things, he is now releasing new music to the world.
Marc's approach to music creation merges classical, global folk styles, progressive rock, jazz, Americana, Synth-Wave, and Electro. Each piece can be an eclectic combination of any of them, building immersive and authentically emotional journeys.
Marc played in his first band at the age of 13. Even at that young age, he had already taken 9 years of piano lessons. He has played keyboards in a dozen bands throughout his life, and his musical activities have been ceaseless. He was an independent producer from 1997 to 2011, working for some of those years at Boston’s famous Renaissance Recording Company when their website mentioned him as “Boston’s premier midi producer” in 2002.
Marc always plays the parts on his keyboards before shaping the piece into the track they will become. He does all his own production, including recording, final mix, and mastering every track he creates.
